
Christina Applegate was born November 25, 1971. 1. She is an American actress. As a child actress she was known for her role of Kelly Bundy on Fox's sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate had a successful career in film and television. She won an Primetime Emmy Award for seven nominations. In addition, she received four Golden Globe Awards nominations and a Tony Award. Applegate appeared in the lead role in Jesse, the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-2000) that brought her an Golden Globe Award nomination. As a guest on the NBC sitcom Friends the show, she won a Primetime Emmy Award. The show was also nominated for the Tony Award as Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Sweet Charity (2005). Samantha Who? was her next ABC sitcom. She later starred in the sitcom Samantha Who of ABC (2007-2009) which for which she received two Primetime Emmy Awards and the Golden Globe Award; the NBC sitcom Up All Night (2012); and the Netflix drama series Dead to Me (2019-2022) where she received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
